server is back, but it's true, downloads all appear to still be v0.9.12 from the main download page?

.
Same thing here, but on Logic (latest version) in 64bit. The AU version of the Drop does nothing.

Well it's been over year (nearly 18months) since first announcement and quite a journey so far. Understand your self critque for perfection. What is your estimation for next release/completion...not exact dates just indications ;) much anticipation here...
I'm getting the final models done as quickly as I possibly can! There have been many unexpected demands on my time in the past 12 months which have brought me to a standstill on development, but I'm back up and running now so there will be more updates within the month.
Hi Andy

Hope you understand I'm not having a dig at you, totally the contrary :) (I can understand other commitments with other projects and also work/life balance  )

It's a great journey and the latest release will get me smiling this weekend :) Great work and very much appreciated.

Ok happy to report 0.9.14 AU is working fine in Live 9 and Logic 9 on OSX 10.8.4 now.

Is filter FM working with the Cascade SH? I couldn't hear a diff.

No it is working. There are some bugs? When I load the plugin, now nothing works until I turn the post gain knob from it's init state.

Will it be possible to get a new demo when the new models are ready?

I do like it a lot already.

Thanks for spotting that, I need to update the trial version downloads, just take a sec. Done!

This sounds like the startup bug I introduced in v0.9.12 setting the value of all controls under the hood to zero, can you please check out v0.9.14 and let me know if that helps?

There is a new demo right now! Every time new models are ready you get another 2 weeks trial automatically, just download the new trial version and give it a go.

The new filters sound fantastic! Less gritty than the MS models, very useful. The text file says that the new filter models are a cross between juno-6 and Sh-09 filters. I own sh-09 myself (juno-60 and ms-10 too by the way ;) ) and the new filters definitely remind me of the sh-09 filter. What's the difference between Cascade and Cascade SH?
circuit modeling and 0-dfb filters are cool

I think the difference is that the Cascade SH is the more complex model (that uses more CPU) and the regular Cascade might leave out some tiny bits as a compromise to save CPU.

The Cascade SH has more of the internal transistors modelled in each OTA stage, so when you push the drive really high the signal clips from these which you can see in the video. The Cascade model leaves out these, which is a considerable saving on cpu and in all but the most brutal use you won't hear much difference. I took the gain staging and IR3109 filter core from the Juno-6, but added diode clippers in the feedback loop like the SH series of synths. Also the SH series synths had no gain compensation so the overall volume volume decreases as you increase the resonance. The Juno-6 and similar synths had partial gain compensation for changes in resonance, I've made this full gain compensation in The Drop since this is more useful for an effect plugin,
