Hi
I've got to buy a spare part for a synth, a bender wheel, but I'd like to try and make one via copying it from making a moulding then using the mould to pour a type of plastic into it and once it drys ...presto I've got a new one, another spare...
Can I do this as a home DIY project ?
What materials would I need & where would I buy from,
Thsnx guys.
Rm
Any one know how I can copy something by making a mould of it ?

I just found this wonderful DIY store yesterday.

THis maybe:

and you need some resin:

some mold release agent probably doesn't hurt either.
The PolyMorph from SparkFun seems useful and fairly simple to use.
