I always just come straight out and just tell everyone that despite the fact that I can spend upwards of 2 -3 years producing an "album's worth" of material my music is still pretty shitty and that I know I will not be going platinum any time soon. I blame Steinberg and Ableton for this. It's their fault. Native Instruments too. Their lackluster products make my music bad -- anyone who makes good music with their products is using a plugin that I don't have yet, but as soon as I get it my music will be as good as theirs, you just wait.
