The sampler that is included with Bitwig Studio is more like Simpler (though it's different from Simpler in a lot of ways, too), so it doesn't have all of Sampler's fancy features.

Here is a video I put together on Saturday. It covers some features of the Polysynth in Bitwig Studio. I'm using the Panorama P1 in Instrument Mode to control it.

It's tough to get a clear shot of the P1's display or the Polysynth's GUI on my computer screen. I think I need a more sophisticated setup than my iPhone for video.

Thanks for the video Justin, looks like it's gonna be an amazing combo! really cannot wait for this daw to be released. they've got so many things right from what I can tell.

Thanks for the info and and video Thomas and Justin.

Nice sound and seems to be a good integration (still hard to memorize everything I guess).

Actually it's easy to remember the mapping when I'm using it, but my memory turns to mush when the camera is on. When parameters are assigned to most controls, the name and values are shown on the display, so memory isn't too much of an issue. :)

Thanks for the informative video... The P1 looks interesting too!

With this setup can you also control 3rd party synths in the same way?

Thomas, since the sampler has the preset category, could you set one to "snare" and then step through all your snares? And then if that were possible I suppose you could map the selector to a knob on a control surface? I believe this would accomplish the same thing as "128s" but you wouldn't be limited to 128.

Also it's really cool to see the e piano in there. Every daw should have a good e piano cause they are a classic, pretty, and flexible sound and they really lend themselves to sampling. Kinda bums me out that I just bought the Broken Wurli for Sonic Couture, though...

Oh yeah, is it possible to do a ping pong delay with the built in delay? I love ping pong delay.

Yes for the first one - when you select for instance Snares you step through snares.
But I'm pretty sure the second one is a no, since selecting/switching presets isn't usually thought as part of the audio chain.
You can't assign controllers to it anyway.

Tom

You should NEVER regret buying that - it's fantastic :-)

Yes, and MUCH MUCH more because of the option to put effects in the feedback loop:

This shows both Delay 1 and Delay-2, where Delay-2 has separate controls for Feedback and Cross-Feedback for both channels... ;-)
Just for the heck of it I put Delay-1 into the feedback loop of Delay-2 - because I can... 8)

Thanx Thomas for your answer. Let's see if there will be a workaround or similar option :-)

Thanks Thomas. Broken Wurli is definitely nice. Thing is, I really only need one nice clean sound. I picked BW for it's clean tone and I actually have the speakers unloaded in the preset that I use. However, I just realized that since the Bitwig version wont have round robin then I can rest easy knowing I didn't waste any money because that's pretty big to me.
