I'm happy with my old Ipad 2, but I planning to replace it around Xmas.
Now I konw everithing of Ipad (pro and cons) but it's not clear what you can do with win8 pro,can I use my daws,plugins,audio editors on these platform ?
Someone had experince with a win8 tablet ?

Win 8 pro is just Windows, it will run most PC software. The CPU on the tablet will determine how many plugs you will run, same as Laptop. Youll have varying success with touch control. Avoid Win 8 RT, its not compatible with Windows PC software. The cheaper tablets are RT.

Like UltraJv said. Look for a laptop that runs Windows 8 Pro, not RT. Basically, the ultra laptops are almost in the same league as tablets, but they can do much more. Depending on how portable you want to be, if you want to spend around 1.000 USD, you can get very good ultra laptops with touch and a very powerful CPU, capable of running many plug-ins (in Windows) and still have the touch environment for the portable needs.
