Hi,
first thank you for the comments guys !
just realized this... when i was messing with my new imports
( piano , guitar , strings phrases and all imported with "Scale Steps" )
i thought would handy if i see alternative scales easily to my current.
so , this is something new to me.
....
Attila,i cant say enough how relaxing and how comfortable !
new timeline range selection !
Thank you!
also for density setting in Staccato Generator is fantastic!
to me all settings are useful !
also i love the piano keyboard in generators!
edit: i just realized that i miss the "if you need" part of your post..
"I have not thought of a scale inspector with scale suggestions, but if you need it, it is not a big deal to add."
i am glad to hear that
as i said its was just an idea to came to my mind
when i was messing with my scale based phrases with different scales
so i can't say yes i definitely need this,
but i guess i can say it would helpful to people like me who doesn't know theoretical part of music.
to me its not urgent , i hope we will get this in v3 with
"chord progressions should contain chord lengths and scale"
Warm Regards
Yıldırım.

Hmmm ... in the recent beta with 'shift+drag' to set the selection, I can't figure out how to adjust a selection once it is created?
I can open the time ruler inspector and manually adjust it ... but I would still like to shorten or lengthen the selection from either the left or right side in the GUI. What to do?
Also, in the time ruler inspector ... here's my 'feature suggestion' ... I'd like to be able to highlight the selection start or end parameter, i.e., bars, beats or ticks, and adjust them with the scroll wheel on my mouse or by dragging the mouse cursor up or down to change the value.

No problem, lulukom, I will build the Mac version sometimes.
Now you can download the latest beta version if you change the download URL to end with ...beta.php
Make sure you don't delete the v2.55 application, because this beta may have issues.
Thanks,
Attila

This does not work nowcomo baila wrote:I can open the time ruler inspector and manually adjust it ... but I would still like to shorten or lengthen the selection from either the left or right side in the GUI. What to do?
If needed Shift+drag could be used after clicking on the left or right side.
Good suggestion!como baila wrote:Also, in the time ruler inspector ... here's my 'feature suggestion' ... Don't panic. Take your time to verify all the main structure of the application, then go slowly deeper and deeper to verify the integrity of all the parts level by level. The time spent to ensure the stability of what already runs is always the priority. Houses, castles and skyscrapers are built by good foundations first, then the first floor then the second floor on a first floor having its walls definitely ended, then... etc. A next floor is always built on the walls and top of a totally finished previous floor made in a sort that there is never need to retouch it (except very minor and easy corrections without side effects on the rest of the construction). And on each floor the rooms are perfectly isolated one another.
You are not constraint to a calendar, Attila, as you can see here by us all. You have not to run. Take your time, verify, verify, verify... Consolidate each level before you continue. Consolidate starting by the most important parts of the architecture, those which are essential to the application to provide its aim : compose. The pleasure that we feel is already very great, we know that you give all your energy and all your passion in it. So take your time to verify and consolidate before to begin to see all our additive (and addictive) new and new suggestions. They are suggestions, to note carefully and keep in the to do list yes, but not the priority since we can already compose almost all the music we want with its present state.
Slow down, take your foot off the accelerator. Take the time to consolidate what is already existing.
I think everybody here will agree with my opinion.

Dear Attila, you are simply inexhaustible toiler!
I really can't understand how promptly and unexpectedly you generate new exciting features and eliminate various nasty bugs
Quite frankly, I just made a quick test of your latest two new generators and still musing over "practicality" of them for my music experiments, but at least both generators sound pretty and very funny (especially "piano runs")
Thanks awfully for your hard work (did I tell that before?
),
T.

Just a short "hint" further to my previous comment about "musing over new generators" -
For fun I made some artificial "glueing" of piano runs/diad runs and the result is very promising
Friendly greetings,
T.

Attila, when you have a free time, could you add the choice to set by default
"Always begin a new line with: 4/6/12/16 bars"
for each user in the tab "Settings/Miscellanious"?
It could be a good new option to have. For musicians writing very often (or even always) in a jazzy style for example among others, it could be a very good new feature...
A new line in the to do list, Attila ? Not urgent, heh...

Is there a method to write a glissando (or a bend if we talk about a guitar phrase) in the present release of RC?
I haven't yet seen all the countless features of RC of course, but haven't seen this for the moment in all I have tried.

Yes, you are right, too, do not know how to write a pitch bend, when you consider that the RC notes recounts how music without changing the pitch?
And let's discuss what to do if the note begins where it corresponds to one chord master track, and ends where it meets next chord master track!

Oops! I just saw that BlackWinny overlooked my favorite in his list. We need 8 to the bar! "4/6/8/12/16."themixtape wrote:I think this is a fantastic idea, too!!!BlackWinny wrote:Attila, when you have a free time, could you add the choice to set by default
