I'm looking for an internet browser for my Samsung Galaxy S. Have been using Firefox for a while, but recently it has been crashing a lot. Usually when trying to access YouTube and Soundcloud links from the KVR forum. It's crashed 3 times in the last couple of hours. I am happy enough with the layout, etc, but this crashing is getting me down.

Any recommendations? Thanks

If it works right on your device you don't need to look any further. It even supports flash (you need to install the legacy flash plugin). Other option would be Chrome, obviously.

I'm very happy with Chrome (on a Google Nexus 5). As I'm using Chrome on my Laptop/Desktop as well, I can easily synchronize bookmarks etc. between all devices.

I forgot to say that you can install the dolphin addon in your desktop browser to synchronize bookmarks with your Android.

Thanks everyone. I didn't know about Dolphin. Will have a look. :)

I'm liking Dolphin so far. Seems faster and less crashy than Firefox. Haven't found a way to import passwords, etc from Firefox yet. Is it possible?

Have you tried to install the Dolphin addon in Firefox desktop and then perform a sync? There are several other approaches here:

If it comes to HTML5 and stuff.. Chrome works for me the best (tried nearly all available Android browsers).

Thanks. :)

Dolphin is great if you want Flash support. But the top choice would be Google Chrome Beta. It's FAST.

I never got Flash working with the newer Android versions (It was also not working with Dolphin). Maybe this worked with earlier Android versions? But because HTML5 (video) is widely supported I have not missed Flash on my tablet.

Google Chrome can be the better option for you, but for its proper work you need to clear the cache history for a regular interval.

Boat Browser used to be the best but the recent changes are not that great. Still, worth a look.

Sleipnir is the new one I am testing. So far, so good.
