@Chris. I didn't take the time to level match these patches but I do like them hot. Please feel free to adjust their volumes using the Amp Gain...........

Oh and don't forget one of the great joys of Synth 1 is because of it's low CPU demand you can layer up a bunch of them, select complimentary patches and have some huge sounds to play...........

So far Chris' Tubular Bells patch gets my vote............

I don't know anything about Blondies Rapture but Chris' Tubular bells sound as good or better than my old DX7's did.

I see you guys were talking about some famous sounds re-creation... Well, two years ago I made a JMJ-style bank you might find useful.

A great soundbank

My only critique is that the sounds only have a number instead of a descriptive name. Some can be figured out, but it can be a pain going through all of the patches to find something.
Just my two cents. Still a great set of sounds

Hey guys,
Here's my first attempt to create a demo.

Jump intro is distorted, pitty, because that filter goes deep
Drums by DSK mini drums. Don't mind the sound and bad programming of the drums, it's only for demo
piano's on Vienna are Piano One
no extra effects or reverb added to synth1
Are Friends Electric: I can't get the portamento right in the programming, it does work with the MW dough...
no animals were harmed or killed during the creation

I only added the Reaper compressor. Seems that I always get a distorted sound (f.e. the Jump intro sound...) I tried several things to get it better. Any tips?
Should I use a normaliser?

EDIT: I got the track volumes down 0 and it looks better, but only now I have volume differences in the master file. What settings is wrong or the best in Reaper when exporting?

these are not new.
I have other presets, i have to dig into my hard drives

some other .sy1 are definitely dead as they disappeared with the feeltune company.

Amazing demo can't wait to download these presets and play with them, I can see your going to make me break out some old midi files and print out some scores to figure those songs out. That is an idea why not include the midi files along with the presets and save us all the trouble of trying to find them all. Heck I recognize some of these tunes but I can't name them at all other than a few because I really never got into pop since I was a metal head and prog metal rocker growing up.
