Hope not and very much doubt it.Numanoid wrote:Did D16 go out of business or just gone on extended holiday![]()
Did some license transfers and email enquiries around March/April and responding so still very much alive.
Last I heard was around January when they had an offer on Lush. Email update if I recall how they are busy work on Lush refinements and advancements.Numanoid wrote:Latest news item on their website is for a sale December 12th, 6 months ago

While the herd is running laps around themselves competing to see who can make the ugliest ear splitting modulations from the "latest greatest" synths. I'm happily making beautiful lush pads capable of making melodies that other people will also enjoy. Thanks Lush, for being an actual useful musical instrument (and not an ugly sounding cheap gimmick like every synth released in 2014).

Same here. Best synth I've ever tried.

I really like LuSH-101. In my review, I just mentioned it could use more modulation options, but that's about it. It sounds very good.firepile wrote:You mean like Dune 2, Blue II and Bazille?TonyVegas wrote:Thanks Lush, for being an actual useful musical instrument (and not an ugly sounding cheap gimmick like every synth released in 2014).

I really love this synth and wonder about where the "Normal Filter" based from and how is it compared to the SH-2? Because in some occasion it could sound like a passable SH-2. May be it's been discussed somewhere, but I can't find a specific info regarding the comparison with the SH-2.

Cool synth, yes. But I wish there was a master layer that controls the other 8 relatively. This way you'd have to automate just the master layer, and not all 8.

Haha give me an example of one of those 2014 "gimmick" synths. You know, one of those ones that isn't even a "musical instrument"! I'm willing to bet you don't know what you're talking aboutTonyVegas wrote:While the herd is running laps around themselves competing to see who can make the ugliest ear splitting modulations from the "latest greatest" synths. Lush-101 is sweet. I hope that D16 can get out some new stuff for it. It's been a while since the last update.

Yeah also some more presets would be nice, the factory presets are excelent and there are no comparable presets by other sounddesigner. One of my faforite synths

I finally bought Lush about a month ago. Really liking it so far. I'm no power user, but I find it fairly easy to work with. There are a few factory patches that peg my CPU, but it's been covered over and over why. I can live with that. It does take longer to open, by far, than any other VSTi I have (Cubase 8 64). That includes Alchemy with all sound libs, Omnisphere, Halion 5, Machfive 3, Kontact, Reaktor,...I'll live with that also. It does seem to come up with the goods on the sonic side of things. That's the bottom line.

Just downloaded 1.1.3 today. They updated all their synths and Sigmund, and just a few weeks ago, they also updated all their Silverline effects too.
