Well. Since Blue-eyed Blonde Ape and his sound set was bumped. I'll weigh in. Global Communication Noise for Zebra, for me - has one of the highest "Favorites / Patch" ratio of most any soundest that I have purchased for Zebra. A big deal for me. Huge really. I think I have tagged over a third of the patches as ones that I re-indexed into Logic Pro, as bread and butter go-to sounds, that I reach for during composition. I am a soundset ho-bag... admittedly.. having something North of 25 sound sets in just my Zebra collection. Point is -- for me, they fix in with what I needed for Zebra.
When I picked up Bazille - I bought Slave to the Rhythm the first chance i could. It's not the bread and butter set that the Zebra set is - but I knew that going in. There are dozens of fantastic patches that I have tagged as Favorites / and indexed into Logic Pro. As i tweak the patches, I am learning a lot from how Blue-eyed Blonde Ape put the sounds together. Well done - and easily worth the price for me.
Thanks for bumping his name and mention of this set. It reminded me, that I wanted to publicly state my thanks, and recommendation that "Slave to the Rhythm" is an excellent addition to the factory and free patches. Highly recommend..

Hi,
A few presets I've done with Bazille :

It is so easy to get some interesting sound out of this synth (considering I am a beginner in sound design)

That drum patch with filter tweaking, is that one instance of Bazille?tedlogan wrote:Bazille. Drums n stuff. What a synth.
And if so, are the drums sequenced in your DAW (key follow > parameters, or other such tricks) or sequenced inside Bazille itself?

The drumpatch is one instance of Bazille using 3 oscillators, and most inefficiently I should add...T-CM11 wrote:That drum patch with filter tweaking, is that one instance of Bazille?tedlogan wrote:Bazille. Drums n stuff. What a synth.

It is completely sequenced in Bazille, one note held down. The rotate knob can dial between variations, although I didn't really use it here except once at the end.
While it was playing I was turning filter 4's gain knob mainly, and a little bit of its cutoff knob, as well as OSC3's PhaseDistAmt.
The DAW had no part in it except playing the one note and recording the tweaking into another channel as audio.
