Its been around longer than that, you can check their forums but there are questions posted about it back in august, so its at least that old. They just never made a big deal about it. I remember using it back then too, was helpful to make sure all the soundbanks were properly updated

Isn't it obvious by now? CA has been sold to Apple/NI/IK or whatever, who's in full control of public announcements etc.

Ok. I simply went to properties and looked at Date Created: ‎Tuesday, ‎December ‎23, ‎2014, ‏‎12:03:34 PM

Guess this is a newer version.. or that version was beta because this version is listed at 1.00.0.281

No camel credits was my first consideration that something was wrong.. they seemed to do that every year in mid december and none this year.

I was saving my camel credits to either buy an Alchemy library or put it towards the CamelSpace version 2 upgrade. Oh all the time spent dreaming and articulating in that thread.. and now it's gone. Or at least no CS2 (unless someone buys them and reinvests in the products -- incl. Windows!) :(
The new installer uses your Camel Audio account to confirm what you own. I wonder how that will work after July?

I am keeping the previous installer backed up.

It just depends on what's actually happening. We could find out in days, weeks or months...or never at all.
Pretty maddening, but we don't know, and will just have to wait and see. If there's legalese involved, it could be a while.

Incidentally, would Boba Fett's involvement in the matter count under the alien abduction theory put forth earlier?
