PC setup - Windows 7 64 bit, Cubase 6.5.5 64 bit DAW with Arturia V Collection V4 + previous purchases of Jupiter 8V (2.5.5) and Analog Laboratory (1.5.2) on the elicenser dongle.
Arturia have some great soft synths but my recent upgrade to the V4 Collection has introduced me to Analog Lab a product that just doesn't seem to work and is full of bugs.
The nearest I've got it to running is by installing version 1.03 or 1.04 first and then updating to 1.2.2.47. But, even if I get it running it still full of bugs and crashes Cubase.
My Analog Lab bugs on Windows 7 64 bit with Cubase 6.5 64 bit DAW
Fresh install from latest version 1.2.0.405 to 1.2.2.47
Bug 1. consistent "cant access library message" so software won't run.
Installing version 1.03 or 1.04 first and then updating to 1.2.2.47. Software runs but with major bugs.
Bug 1. You can't edit/activate any of the synths within the preferences section.
Bug 2. In audio midi settings - all midi devices are constantly defaulted to the on state every time you start the software.
Bug 3. Crashes Cubase every time Analog lab VST is opened
So, is anyone else having similar issues?
Anyone else having issues with the Analog Lab Software?

Hi chazm2010,
It looks like your database is corrupted.
If you don't have any user preset you need to try to delete this folder :
c:\program data\Arturia\Analog Lab
Then try a fresh reinstall of AnalogLab and give it a try.
Bug 1 : Not a bug. This feature was in previous version of AnalogLab. Analog Lab will now automaticaly scan if you have any Vcoll synth and activate them.
Bug 2 : This bug was introduced in v1.2.0 should be fixed in 1.2.2. I guess a clean reinstall should fix this.
Bug 3 : Not reproducible here. But maybe it's related with database problem.
BTW some updates of the "legacy" plugins are coming very soon. Those update should fix some bugs in Analog Lab too.
They will be available in your ArturiaSoftwareCenter.

Hi Ben,
have already tried all those suggestion and even a complete reinstall of windows 7. But, I still just keep getting the same issues.
Also - Bug 1 is a bug:
Analog lab just doesn't recognize or activate any synths even though I have the entire V4 Collection (Analog Lab, Arp 2600, Jupiter 8v, Mini V, CS80v, Solina, Wurlitzer, Sem V, Prophet, Vox Continental, Matrix 12V , Spark) + Analog Laboratory and Jupiter 8v (Elicenser).

Yes I confirm AnalogLab has some serious issues and bugs, I don't use this vsti anymore after some crashes. Feels like an amateur devel vsti. Host Ableton Live 9, OSX 10.9.5.
[del]AudioLinux sucks.[/del]
