BeepStreet is a one Man show and he said to me, he will making a Windows Version when he has enough people who are interested. He makes actually only plugins and apps for apple. The next synthesizer will be a 101 style synthesizer for IOS, very simple to use. The Sunrizer will coming first only for MAC, later maybe for Windows.
He will show the resonation of the release of the MAC Users and watching if the market want also a Windows version.
The price is 50 $ Intro
Regular 80$

Well hmmm, don't know what proof there could be without "asking" "the market", whatever each of those words mean. A $50 synth that sounds like that seems like a no-brainer though, as you say, and there are a ton more Windows users than Mac, so it seems pretty likely it'd sell.MillerSam wrote:BeepStreet is a one Man show and he said to me, he will making a Windows Version when he has enough people who are interested. The price is about + - 50 USD what is a no brainer Price
Maybe he could post a poll here? Not sure how people would know about that either, but that's true for any new synth builder.
I'm in, for what that's worth

The main problem of Windows is that this is a kind of port from IOS to Mac.
You can't port an IOS Synth simply to Windows. You must code this from the bottom
Look Nave fro Windows / Mac. The developer has startet this Nave Port from IOS 1 Year ago and now it's almost finish.
It's a time vs money thing. Worth the time where he develop the port to Develop or is it only a bit more money for him. What I have heart the next synth will be cross platform from the beginning

I'm aware, porting a synth that wasn't built on a cross-platform foundation from Mac to Win is a ton of work. Really, what you'd probably want to do is convert it to such a foundation first. I'm sure porting from iOS to Mac is much easier. Each dev has to decide if the Windows market is worth that.
Hope he does, sounds great.

Such a shame. It's 2015 and people have to go through thatMillerSam wrote:The main problem of Windows is that this is a kind of port from IOS to Mac.

Because it was developed originally for iOS.
There are many synths out there only for PC. Now it's our turn as Macers to gloat‚ for a while at least…
