This thread is interesting, but why limit yourself to one OS when you can have them all. On a weekly basis, I use Windows 8, Windows XP, Mac OS X and Linux Ubuntu. They're all great in one area or another, so I might as well use them all for their specific strength rather than limit myself to just of them!
