and maybe some also have experience with Largo, Naveand Serum. i got Serum and totally love it but would hear/read opinions about how it is compared to NAVE/Largo.
i think so after checking it out further.aMUSEd wrote:Wait for Nave.

just corrected it!Igro wrote:NERVE? This was a drum sampler.
please explain the character to mezerocrossing wrote:I still love Largo. While Serum is a kind of blank slate, Largo is a character synth. I feel that Largo has sort of gloomy and icy sound.Caine123 wrote:please explain the character to mezerocrossing wrote:I still love Largo. I feel that Largo has a gloomy/icy/alien sound. It has also the best comb filters i've heard (really "in your face"). There are some things that i didn't like: way to exponential attack (same applies to the modulation amount curve)Igro wrote:Caine123 wrote:please explain the character to mezerocrossing wrote:I still love Largo. Hey, that's extremely well put.zerocrossing wrote:I still love Largo. While Serum is a kind of blank slate, Largo is a character synth. This is a very good idea imo. Also, the Z3ta comparison has truth to it, if you own Z3ta then you could conceivably do a lot of what Largo has to offer.aMUSEd wrote:Wait for Nave.
I agree, but I should mention that Rolf is listening to requests in regard to the VA aspect.chk071 wrote:Don't get Nave though if you're out for VA sounds though. Largo is much better in that regard (and actually one of the best sounding for that IMO). Strictly for wavetable sounds, you're probably better off with Nave.
