decided to hurriedly wrap up my 'synthedit physical model pieces' which were taking too long to sequence, so here's some haphazard tunes, the top 4 'sweetheart' thru 'the boss' use my 'b_brass' vsti for se saxes and horns extensively.

also added a few playlists for fast connections.. i will tout the randomised 'tuned voice' stuff as "significant to humanity" if you haven't heard them yet. oc "intelligible to humanity.." best of luck, hugs and kisses.

Hey xoxos,

what exactly i do with a m3u file does it loads into a player i thought it's just a playlist which is actually a text file with extension m3u.

Would i here anything after download?

You have to stay online after you downloaded that m3u, doubleclick it and winamp or winmediaplayer should start and search the connection to xoxos website, then you might hear something, if your connection is fast enough.

Wow, pretty unconventional, but all the more enjoyable for it.

Particularly enjoyed Sweetheart, Makin Up Songs and Money. I need to take another look at b_brass... Clearly it takes some skill to control it well... Still, better that it's unpredictable than unexpressive .

Love your take on music... Mixing the expression of jazz with the madness of electronica. The tunes I liked best were probably the most conventional of the bunch, but perhaps one of the best ways to shock is to subvert expectations.
Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist.

Well griels
i searched for your entry but seems you are not participating competition.

Actually what you see is a list of samples of only one song. I will upload all songs and samples in short. it's that i am a dial up user.

you can review my new post a soft tune mix at

this is completetly different from the previous and might not fit your tastes.

Just listen it plane without EQ.

you're the antichrist.

it's very late, this stuff is sick, my mind is ill.
don't know why but I missed all the "qq" algo tunes...
well, congrats...to you and your endlessly cpucrunching-untrendy-unfriendly-petgrinding SynthEdit creatures.

ta for listening, congrats on those terms accepted. organic/digital disparity more than pleasure :p

griels - some b_brass patches can be very rt playable.. main troubles are getting an attack comfortable for the speed of the passage, and a 'seed' sustain that doesn't build too much on legato. i usually play an approximation, loop and microedit to hell, ie. successive legato notes with lower velocities w/ troublesome patches. usually don't use any of the crappy 'growl' features + patches i use are waay off the presets.. usually just do the seed eg and filter for tone. if you're interested, i can port my patches back.

vishalshetye, don't have any standards to 'review' from, but heard. hardware? thinking about making a general purpose vsti with microtonal scales if that's interesting.

brass is something that one of the hardest sounds to synthesize. And listening to these you tried to give it an original swing rather then just trying to emulate. I think personally the dark sax came closest though.

I loved the chatanoogoo choochoo latest groove tune. Very fifties/sixties this and enjoyed. To my ears the boss comes closest, but making up songs is most enjoyed.

and in the proces I updated my xoxos-folder :)

no need to pander.
