30 Drum kits for Native Instruments Battery 4
All these kits contain samples have been carefully recorded from the famous Korg M1 an processed to make them a bit thicker sounding and hitting nicely.
The whole package consists of 29 of the best drum and percussion kits from the M1 and 1 kit as an example that you can easily mix and mach the sounds between the different kits and mangle them with Battery’s sound shaping ability’s. After recording the samples we have chopped them up for you and made them into read to go Battery 4 Drum kits. With clear naming of each cell and using General Midi standards to map out the drum kits across the cells, it is easy to navigate the kits and easy to program the midi drum grooves.
These drums have a nice crunch to them and are usable for many styles. You can use them as they are for that recognisable vintage vibe or shape them further with Battery into something else. These drum sounds handle the processing quite nicely.
Hope you enjoy!

Are you even allowed to sample the M1?

These samples all have processing and editing applied to them in one way or the other. Also, we are not using any of the Korg or M1 trademarked names.
Ripping the ROMs straight out of a workstation and or selling under their trademark names would clearly be legally questionable to say the least.
But these are recordings. Processed recordings sold as sounsets. They are not identical copy's of the original ROM soundsources.

The product itself, meaning the package and preset names themselves does not. For instance people can build a minimoog clone hardware synth. They can say that it is a clone or emulation of a minimoog but they cant call it a minimoog.
