I didnt mean it should be that easy but there should be companies with skill ed programmers not only Came has to do something as this would be a great Opportunity to get their Position on the Windows market....

It should be no problem for some good programmers to do it.

but there should be companies with skill ed programmers
I know for a fact that Ben had started working on the research for Alchemy more than four years before it was released. He had already produced its predecessor Camel5000 by then, and before that he had a research background in audio and speech synthesis as well as a degree in computer science from one of the best courses on the subject in the UK.
Dont know why I mean, realistically, any half-decent codemonkey could probably manage it in a few weeks. Its, like, just programming, innit.

We got enough fm. Substractive synths but a real Alchemy alternative i dont See and i have padshop which is nice but doesnt come close to Alchemy and steinberg sucks, Reaktor is tooo complicated mostly. Mangle hasnt all Features and u dunno about the dev.

I also thought about getting a mac if fl studio is fully compatibility cause I thought a mac only for music should be more stable than win7 but many users told me something else.
Ive been wondering this myself. There's Harmor but that doesn't work in Ableton and Razor is just plain boring.

Be good if Harmor ran without crashing. Maybe they intentionally made it incompatible so people would get a taste and spend the $200 to buy FL and then Harmor.

There must be several reasons to why Camel Audio sold out to Apple.

One factour could be that they did market research and found that the Windows market is either saturated or are not that interested in such a plug at the moment.

Its not really additive. Its just a disguise to market it.

Or cameltoe. And furchemy. Why furchemy? Because "hairtrianglemy" would be a stupid name.

Building software is more than just the capabilities of a software developer. Something of the likes of what Alchemy does, requires someone with knowledge of audio, sound, understanding mathematical equations, and producing those equations. Finding software developers with the ability to integrate math, numerical analysis and the like is not necessarily easy to find.

I work for a software company that does propagation and planning for radio/wireless systems. We require Radio Engineers who understand how wireless systems and propagation works, how interference plays into things, what kind of antenna is in use and how is it facing, a ton of factors go into it that I, as a software developer, have no clue about. I am impressed with our own internal engineers and our customers as they sometimes find the one small factor that is not being handled properly in the code.

Sorry, hope this doesn't come off as a rant. Don't mean it that way at all. Just want to point out how software development is a team effort of various knowledge.

I agree with you 100%. What I have a hard time believing is that Ben is the only person on this planet with the ability to make an Alchemy like synth. I mean the man, as talented as he may be, is not God. There has to be at least one other developer on this planet who can do what he can do.

What programming really is :-

NI has the resources to do it... and they already have most of the tech...

And another thing, when you create a plugin like Alchemy or Omnisphere it also requires significant investment in sample content, which is expensive and time consuming to do well.

When Sylenth and Spire outsell your creation 5/1, you may take a business decision to say 'fook that'

There are plenty of people who could do it just :

A) they a have a well paid job already
B) they're not crazy enough to enter the Soft synth market
C) they don't have the time
D) Kvr made them give up all hope
E) they're dead
F) .........

If Debbie does Dallas, why can't Alchemy be done by....
