Listened as they came into the thread. ( had sime time at work. shhhh )
:hihi: :hihi:
Clever idea. You just might want to check on those, who kept changing their song!
Anyway, I will take my time now, I think, trying not to listen to too many songs at once. :phones:

HEY WAG, nice to know you keep checking in! :tu:
Helm is a fairly great synth, if it wasn't for the other technical troubles, such as bad idle behavior, unreliable (moody) loading behavior and strange processing spikes that seem to make no sense. However, it has all it takes to make some excellent sounds. Except for the layered formant-bass at the end, all sounds are single instances, including the drums. Only the drums have some EQ help to adjust the character, all other sounds that have EQ only do so to clean up the mix. So, yeah, arriving at a vision for your song helps create the sounds for it.
THANKS, as always! I'm glad you're still with us and you're in relaxed position, even if I miss your wacky wagnatic songs already!

I'm ALMOST done with voting, and I can't shake this idea: We should do a STYLE SWAP one of these months. Everyone picks the style of somebody else and at the end we guess who picked whom, hehehe!

I have no sense of style :P

Almost done voting, but am stuck on the iPad for a bit. Hurricane Hermine knocked out power to most of Tallahassee. Interesting interruption...I'll give her THAT!

Voted!
Ah, I wonder if it's only because there weren't that many tracks or because it generally sounded really very, very good, but this time it was extremely pleasant to vote.
This time I went for a full-spectrum vote, though, really spreading out the points to reflect more what I felt. This may look a bit weird on the table, because some top notch quality mixes didn't get a top spot, while some really weird stuff really impressed me this time around. I must be under some curious influence?! :scared:

Anyway, at the end you all rocked! 8)

Makes me wonder if I'm never out of such intoxication!
As voting higher for weird stuff looks like a rule for me.

Anyway at least I can say that I honestly listen to all tracks
carefully and completely. Even trying to forget
who is the author, because I like to feel free to judge
the music, just the music ... the entries of the month, not the people behind it.
(Well this last airing of mine has nothing to do with my reply to you Taron, <wink>, words came up spontaneously.)

Voted.

I'm voting a few tracks at a time in between working on other stuff.
Just a quick comment: If you make a fairly minimal track with just a couple of melodic lines etc, maybe don't make it as loud as it can go.. blew my head off :o
