I often prefer to combining "simpler" synths plus extern FX but sometimes a all in one can be better too.
Both workflow can be good.
But Avenger have some unique things those simpler synths might not have. Especially modulated FX are a main part for me and i like them to be part of a patch...if they sound good.
Some unique extern FX like Kaleidoscope uses a lot cpu but are worth it for me.
I also like to sample simpler, characterful synths as sound source for those hybrid monsters.
As always different tools for different people.
I still think Avenger will be a big winner...for me!

Yes can't hardly wait also !
Please add an FX input, so the plugin can be used as multi FX also

and a standard rompler set to start with, some piano's, strings, organs, ... (GM set)
I'd be sooooo thankful.

Ha! I was close to getting Rapid, but saved my money for Avenger instead. All the excellent videos sold me on Avenger.

GAS is great if you can afford it... I played with Avenger, thought to load up some Demos but then left it as everyone here can afford to buy it. As great as a synth it is to have I cant afford to buy it... the asking price is almost my whole months waGes so no... I will pass it this time.. just to broke to buy it...

it will cost 65€
you get a lot more with an expansion than just the presets. For example with the EDM1 XP it will be
131 Presets
26 Drumkits & 26 Sequences
81 Multisamples
41 Shapes
10 Wavetables

ps: on release we will have xmas sale, so you will get it 20% cheaper
