I've been looking for a general sound library similar to that of SampleTank, but in WAV/AIFF/GIG (or any other Kontakt-compatible) format. I'm not sure if anything like this exists, but it would be very useful to me. Currently, I've been relying on mostly free soundfonts, with the occasional instrument from Kontakt or Kompakt's libraries (which are fairly small for the most part), and that isn't really cutting it. Of course, this question is meaningless if SampleTank's default library is in one of the formats I mentioned, and not a proprietary one no other program can used - but I haven't been able to figure that out from the reviews I've read.

No, this is the first I've heard of it. Interesting. I'll look for reviews of it; this looks like what I'm looking for.
edit: interestingly enough, I can't seem to find any..
