I don't doubt you or your experience, just that my experience seems to be different.

There is no "lol" with it, the vast majority have not been able to keep from updates, that is overwhelmingly obvious.

What is a "false positive" is people claiming to be update free, which not only is a very small percentage, but the vocal groups, claiming superiority.

Not well played.

lol :D

I can only say it as I find it, whether you believe it or not is no skin off my nose, I know my experience far more than you would. It's nothing to do with superiority, it's just a couple of mouse clicks . . . done!!!

Be aware focusrite users (and maybe in general firewire audio card users), this update breaks something that Audio has instable connection. I have tried working with USB audio devices (virus ti soundcard and Focusrite VRM), they seem to function normal.

As we're already getting political again, the VAST majority of users want these updates. That is extremely obvious, when you take a look at the insider thing, where the "community" actually works on Windows with the Microsoft community manager, which is obviously quite an important appointment these days. People want new. So Microsoft serves new every half a year. You don't have to like it, i surely don't, as i'll rather have some stability, and working features, but, there's no denying that, what the majority wants, can be quite different to what an individual wants. And, for be fair, they implemented a lot of useful stuff with the bigger updates. More than i ever got in any former Windows version.

Anyway, i see that you're suspended now. Maybe testament to going offtopic with the first reply in threads like these, i don't know.

Does anyone have an answer to the OP or are we playing playground again. Who cares who updates what? That argument belongs in HPC.

Again, anyone see benefits? What's the new sound protocol, does it allow aggregate devices or work as a replacement for ASIO in DAWs? Any tweaks added of benefit?

I'm readying to install W10 again on another partition and do the Creators Update myself, just like to hear any 1st hand experience.

Try me today if any want to come back with a snide comment instead of direct answers to direct questions. Want to take it off the rails? I'm your huckleberry.

I inadvertently updated to "Creator" WIN 10 last night
I ran the LIVE set that I'm working on today and see no change either way in CPU usage - fwiw

Will there be a Windows 10 Creator Word Processor mode released as well?

I mean, that is what Windows is most used for, word processing in offices.

It's just that word processing isn't a particularly performance critical task.
