I'm having trouble with the installation, where when I click on the Install file, it says that I need to put the install file in the directory that the installation files are in.

Not sure why this happens in some systems, but it does. In those cases, you will need to manually install. Open the install files folder, copy the plugin files and the data folder.

except its not "full". it doesnt include most of the presets...and apparently a lot of the ones it does include dont work because they are missing samples.

still...it is free, just posting this so people arent surprised by the ploy to get you to upgrade this "full" version to an actual full version.

and you def. dont have to do the like/share stuff on facebook.

So, did you conveniently forget to mention the bit where is goes onto to say:

"This copy of Wusik 8000 comes with a small selection of sounds, compared to the official version. Apart from that, the product is fully featured and has no restrictions."

or, did you just not read that far?

i didnt forget anything. just pointing out the fact that although the claim is that its a "full" version...it isnt. spin it however you like, but if its not the entire thing...it isnt "full" now is it?

It IS a full version, since it has no restrictions of any kind. You can do anything with this version just like the original one. Yes, it does not come with GIGs of sounds, but that is not a restriction of the product.

Could you at least sync the presets and the samples? Include the corresponding samples if you're going to give the presets, or just delete the presets that contains samples you don't want to share.

This is kind of annoying to click on a preset and receive a "sample missing" error.

He/they has a long enough history of baiting markets with varied 'shortings' of the same products and then offering the rest of it with a purchase of another product or a promise of a new product that never comes into existence.

And likewise tends to call those that 'reveal the history and tactics' the very names he knows he is himself. While the products seem promising, they usually turn out costly for something downloaded for 'free'.

i dont care whats in the complete description. the first line is deceptive. people make all kinds of claims in advertising only to state things later on that modify or alter the initial claim. im sure you have heard of "fine print" before. just because the truth is mentioned later doesnt change the fact that its misleading in the first place. now lets take your (and his) claim that its "obvious" that full means "fully functional with no restrictions" (which i say its isnt anyway, but thats a different conversation)....ok so the headline of the post is:

The way I see it, a plugin is offered as "full version" if there's no restriction regrading operation, features, etc. Presets count (as much as I'm a sucker for 'em and prolly the main reason for trying & keepig a synth installed in the first place) is not relevant. So yes, I too think this is indeed a full version.

As for the onboard sounds, I have to say I had way less problems running them than the free version of WS8. I think there are around 20 that don't make any sound on my machine, as opposed to Wusik, where a lot of the presets are silent. But it is what it is - free stuff, take as it is or leave it. There's no need to snark.

On a different note, I really like the alternative skins I don't fancy the standard one (I'm using the Dark Grass version). And it loads very fast compared to WS8. So all in all, cool stuff.

PS: presets are on the ambient/experimental side - not bad for some extra flavour...
