Awesome! Finally something that looks like a synth and not a toy :)

BTW, anyone tried that?
Any chance for high-res support in Dune 2?
Dune 2 has skin support, so it isn't really limited to a particular resolution, it's just that the factory skin wasn't designed with high-res in mind.

Look again........the Albino skin poster earlier has the background as a negative image.

There are plenty of skins for DUNE 2.......or make your own. Download Gimp or Paint.net and have at it...

Yea I said the colors were fine man its f*ckin perfect for a recolor skin that looks like albino. So now I got one that works. You gotta step up your game if you wanna get my attention cus now the dune 2 albino skins market got some competition goin on ahahahaha

And man... appreciate the advice but if I felt like makin my own skins? I would. But I don't.

Teksonik

these are nice skins of yours!

Although i personaly use Default Red skin & Galcier White by Satyatunes (this one imo is better then default, amazing work)

Thanks but these aren't my skins. The Arctic skin was going to be released by Synapse but like I said there was something wonky about it either the size or I seem to remember the wooden sides threw off the config file or something along those lines.

The other one is just the default with edits and the monitor section from one of SatYatune's skins. I can't share that one out of respect for him.

Anyway I don't use Red on my personal skin as I find it very harsh on my eyes. I just did these quick color edits for others to show how easy it is......if I can do it anyone can...... :hihi:

Here's the D2 skin I use on a daily basis:

Yea you either don't give yourself enough credit or got too much time on your hands. Just sayin.

No I am aware of what talent, skill, and work it takes to create a skin from scratch. Color edits are easy and can be done by anyone using freeware.

Just saying.

Looking nice Teksonik!

I like that there are those wooden panels because it shrinks a bit the synth making it a bit smaller (yeah i know sounds weird but i like that) and knobs, sliders proportional for my weird eyes :D

It may work but it looks like arse.......who uses a negative image ? But hey if you are so easily impressed then more power to you. Competition ? Bwa ha ha........ No one is "competing".

For the record I give zero f**ks about "your attention".

I'm trying to find the Arctic skin as it's got a nice analog feel. I've got it somewhere on a old hard drive. I found a post at Synapse where this skin was first released. There was a problem with it not displaying correctly. It was supposed to be released as one of the default skins but was dropped due to technical reasons. I'd like to try it again to see if I can get it to work just as a challenge. If I can find it and get it working I'll post it here as long as there are no complaints from Synapse and I wouldn't expect any...... :)

That really looks amazing! One of the most beautiful skins I have seen for D2. And the other two above are great, too, especially Albino 2. Well done!

Coming back to the question that started off this thread, I would also be interested in a more or less completely black/dark skin, maybe with a black display as well (white font) and white or greyish knobs.

Thanks, but the credit goes to those who created the graphics. I just moved a few things and changed colors. :)

Anyway I found the Arctic skin and it seems to function alright on the latest version of D2. The only issue so far is the Analog button which I have not been able to move despite changing the coordinates. Something I'm missing no doubt.

I chose Orange for this one as I'm struggling to find a color that fits....

I like Teksonics dark gray skin.

By the way go check out soundware forum. There are some new Dune 2 presets out.

Hey does anyone know how to make a Dune 2 skin like knobs found on modular gear? A hardware realistic looking skin with a deep metallic black or deep chrome red with cool knobs would be nice. Also with orange red leds. Coolness
