Just a little message to let you know we'll be hard to reach until Tuesday with the combo Holiday/Hurricane weekend we've got in South Florida.

It also won't be the usual Squids posting for a few days either. I'll miss you guys.

Wish us luck! We're boarding up, packing up for the hurricane. All mail/shipping carriers aren't leaving anymore this week so... please be patient. Not much we can do about this one.

We'll let you know how we are as soon as possible. Hopefully it won't hit us too bad but as of now it is coming right for us. Gulp.

My folks live in Titusville. They boarded up yesterday and headed northwest this morning. It took them five hours to get to just north of Ocala.

You're right. I should sample it. Some really weird cool sounds come from these storms. But, then again, the price of the library relative to the EXTRA business risk would be too high.

Still alive, no major damage either.

Lost some fish in the fish tank though. The pointy one was one of my favorites. He's gone.

The clown fish is still alive and a shrimp. That's about it. No squids were in the tank.

Just got internet back. Something like 1 million or more without power. We only lost power for a little bit though. So, knock on wood.

By the way, f**k Ivan!
