There are still red lines in GUI when it's scaled >100%. Please, correct it. It's really annoying and without zoom SM GUI is just too small.

That was at sqigls I hope.... I noted a few BT that are still unfixed but I am a huge BT fan so I would usually spend more time playing with his patches.....but he found a lot that I wouldn't have found...
which I guess makes Bulent's job harder unless he writes a script to check each and everyone.
However that sqigls and to a lesser extent myself and others have isolated some that are problematic, one would hope they would indeed get some love and attention.

I finally got around to installing the latest version on a test machine. I like to try things out before moving to my main music machine (still on 2.8 over there). Installed smoothly (Windows 7, 64-bit). Really like the new in-app library downloader which worked very nicely.
I'm looking forward to updating the other computer (hopefully next week). Thanks for the new presets. That's always an added bonus you provide with many of the updates.
One issue I'm having (even with 2.8 ) is some patches are off by a half-step (too high). I've noticed this with Rob Lee EDM 3: 'AR High and Low RL', 'AR Leads and Bass RL' and 'AR Pizz Waves RL'. That's my list so far.

+1. It got irritating to the point that i just don't bother opening the synth anymore..AdamWysokinski wrote:There are still red lines in GUI when it's scaled >100%. Please, correct it. It's really annoying and without zoom SM GUI is just too small.

I actually didn't realize I had the red lines until just now when I stuck my face right up against my screen
While I agree that they should be fixed, I find the issues related to modulator drag-and-drop to be a lot more annoying when using Synthmaster and would like to see those addressed first.

I just did the same with the default blue theme, now I have some faint grey lines but it is better.glokraw wrote:I did a graphics app 'convert to grayscale' on all the red stuff,
after copying them to a safe place. A barn-yard fix, but
I'm familiar with barns.

Something for v3, but it would be cool if you could see the waveftable index display change when modulating the index with, say an LFO.

What do those images with the red on them even do? I converted all the red images in my skin of choice to transparent images of the same size. The red lines are gone with seemingly no adverse effects.

I think they are there to show where the skin doesn't fit right, like a debug tool that was left in place. I didn't consider just making them transparent, I should do that myself.Greenstorm33 wrote:What do those images with the red on them even do? It seems like they were needed when background2.png was used as the layer page background, but now that background2_new.png is used instead (you can tell because the former can be deleted while SM2 is running while the latter cannot), they are redundant.braj wrote:I think they are there to show where the skin doesn't fit right, like a debug tool that was left in place. edit: Although you may be right about debugging being the reason they are red on the bottom rather than transparent or some less conspicuous color.

Aha! So maybe there is a clue how Bulent can fix it, if that is really the issue.Greenstorm33 wrote:It seems like they were needed when background2.png was used as the layer page background, but now that background2_new.png is used instead (you can tell because the former can be deleted while SM2 is running while the latter cannot), they are redundant.braj wrote:I think they are there to show where the skin doesn't fit right, like a debug tool that was left in place. Yeah, took all of 5 minutes to turn the red transparent and no more red lines!
