No, not a good point at all - he does not owe you guys and your unfounded (only ever so-slightly hinted at) insinuations any explanation whatsoever. How is that your business? (hint: it isn't)

Personally I can't stand that shitty witch-hunting mentality at KVR at all anymore - it sucks donkey's balls.

you conveniently left out the part where he said "maybe he got a new system", which he did

maybe put the whole quote in if you want to try and dig ppl out and put words into their mouths, or just just ignore it, as its not your concern.

Post

No, it did not quote it because it was not part of what I was referring to.

When I say to someone "you do not look as if you could afford that Rolex watch you wear"

it doesn't make it any better if I add:

"but perhaps it was a gift to you from someone "

It is still none of your business.

he didnt imply anything, that was your decision

it was all part of the same conversation, try learing to read and keep your nose out, ja?

Post

I can read quite okay, thank you very much! What conversation? Why would they care whether someone else has a new machine since the last time he tried the Dune demo? Why would that be their business, why would that be any relevant to this thread? Why would they care?

Of course they implied something. You just chose to ignore and even deny it. I on the other hand decided not to.

clearly you cannot, you're like a tabloid newspaper, making stuff up to get attention.

As far as the preset browsers go, I think the Dune's one is one of the most convenient and logical ever. You just put the subfolders into your preset folder and browser shows all the subfolders and sub-subfolders.

I'm not much a preset person anyway though, maybe If i had dozens of 3rd party banks it wouldn't be that convenient.
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

You know that you lie to make a point here. Answer my question - give me one good reason they brought it up in the first place!

You can not, because there is none! And you know that and nonetheless you argue as if there was one (besides insinuating he might have used an illegal version, of course). You are really pathetic - I have nothing but contempt for the likes of you!

he asked because the demo has a 30 day limit (or whatever)

he clearly didnt know it resets with an update or new/diff machine. it was a simple inquiry.

no insinuations

the rest YOU made up, YOU made the insinuation.

now, jog on and take your bullshit somewhere else

Please stop the discussion and love with each other peacefully

How is what I write any of your business ? (hint: it isn't). Sounds like you are witch hunting and hence sucking donkey balls.

I even gave the guy the benefit of the doubt. "Maybe he got a new system........" But I guess reading comprehension is not your forte. I'm not even the one who first brought up the question so why didn't you jump on him ? Something personal against me cupcake ? I've owned Dune since version 1 so how would I know what the demo restrictions are beyond what is written at Synapse ? It says expires in 30 days not expires in 30 days after each update.

I'm sorry you got triggered snowflake. Maybe go to your safe place and seek some counseling to overcome the trauma.

So why don't you take your meds, go sit down and STFU.

I was genuinely curious because I remember uninstalling the demo a long time ago when it ceased to work.
I didn't insinuate anything, what could I insinuate regarding that question?!

I don't like that demo mode, back when I had the Dune 2 demo, I had little time for music because of work. In such cases 4 weeks can be little. Since I don't buy stuff just like that, such a demo mode can easily cost the developer my purchase.

I find 30 days to demo without limitations pretty generous.

Even though I accidentally found a way to demo it even longer. :P

Agree! I find it pretty fair and a good time to find out if it fits or not. I hate those demo versions with noise or time outs.
