Yes. It was also in the exported file. Maybe a bug with multithreading. Seems to be better to leave this option disabled.

Love the update! This could be just me but the newer version sounds a bit warmer compared to V2, by comparing the same factory presets. To me Dune 3 is one of the biggest and smoother sounding plugin. There's a certain very musical and beautiful coloration that reminds of the Ensoniq TS line, especially when looking at the black colored GUI

My collegue had the same problem with Dume 2, he had multithreading option disabled cause he said the performance were worser on some patches with it enabled!

Did I read something about 5 second Attack time several pages back ? I must have missed the whole conversation and am too lazy to look back now but take this Patch:
Then turn the Filter and Amp Attack times all the way up. Certainly that's a long enough attack ? Or did I miss the point ?

I must have misunderstood what they were trying to say. I thought someone was saying D3 couldn't do attack times more than 5 seconds. I'm getting 9-10 seconds here before anything audible at least on this system. Much longer than I would normally use but to each his own.
Anyway here are 10 patches I've done with Dune 3 so far. Most of them decidedly not "modern" sounding.

So what were you saying and why did someone respond that 5 second attack time was ridiculous ?

I mentioned that i find it useful when the envelope stages show how many seconds they're long, because i often use about 5 or 6 seconds attack time. I have no idea what is ridiculous about it. Maybe SoundPorn thought i meant 5 or 6 seconds before the sound kicks in at all. Which of course isn't what i meant. Rather 5 or 6 seconds until the atack phase is finished, i.e. the amplitude reaches its maximum level.

You could always use the MSEGs for attack, which do display actual times. At a rate set to 0.1x and length set to 32 you can have transition times of up to 320 seconds.

Ahh I see. My apologies then. I don't know where I got that someone was saying D3's envelops couldn't have 5 second attack times.chk071 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 14, 2018 2:13 pm I mentioned that i find it useful when the envelope stages show how many seconds they're long, because i often use about 5 or 6 seconds attack time.
