Here a distorted sci-fi horror noise whatever FX thingie. Just one layer. Took me some minutes to set it up.
Also just use one OSC (as sound generator).
I just play some random notes, no modwheel here or even velocity changes. Just some crap.
Now of course you can do much more musical (or even more unmusical and weird) things and you have still 2 OSC more and 7 layers on top

I try to come up with something better of course. But i feel right home and also begin to like the mod-matrix window more since i now can at least resize it.
I called it "Noisepunch Flatulenz"

Another one i made with Dune 2 a while ago and just changed the reverb to the Shimmer Hall.
Also one layer. Like the name says i used the FM OSC here and also some modulations at audio rate.

There seems to be a bug with automation within Logic. If i automate f.e. the reverb wet/dry and use the Shimmer it seems to change the reverb Algorithm (even if the GUI still shows the Shimmer).
Whatever...last one for today since 3 is a good number

FM Bells with the added shimmer reverb (some random settings, predelay is synced to 1/8d at 100BPM).

Nice... I may have to demo Dune 3 at some point... not convinced yet... but for sure a step in the right direction
