Over past week and change I decided to create a an NKS preset library for the massive ESQ-1/SQ-80 sysex dump that is readily available on the web.

I used Don Solaris' from Gearslutz as it was the easiest to comb over.

I used SQ8L to load the banks and then VSTHost to save the individual programs as .FXP

I then imported each program into Felicia Hummel's PresetMagician. https://presetmagician.com/

The program is still in the alpha stage and buggy. I.e, I had to import banks patches as individual programs as PG wouldn't recognize FXB import. Nonetheless, this was a MASSIVE timesaver.

There are over 5000 converted sysex patches with SQ8L browser artwork and audio previews(!!!)

I left out the AnalogAudio1 patches as they are still actively sold. But check out his YouTube channel for them...they are worth every penny.

What I have included is a carefully curated selection of Jexus' ESQ-1 patches. This was a process in and of itself due to his terrible organization and naming convention. But I've captured all the patches in his demo.

A few caveats:

- Windows 32-bit only so it needs to be bridged. IMO, in this instance...totally worth the hassle. Use Jbridger..small donation for $15.

- Here is also a workaround for MAC users https://www.reddit.com/r/synthesizers/c ... run_32bit/

- the banks are tagged by Instrument and Bank name ONLY. Any subsequent tagging is left up to the user

- there is some overlap in patches between some banks the difference being only two or three unique patches. Feel free to delete or re-organize as you wish.

Read the enclosed instructions. Enjoy!

Is there a way we can still get this?
