Anyone else getting confused in their DAW between Crusher-X and Massive-X? I can’t get any productivity consistency because of loading the wrong instrument. Can I rename the plugins in my digital audio workstation?

All this talk about Pigments, so I downloaded the demo. U/I wise, Pigments mostly trumps Massive X, then animation is great, but sound, GTFOH! The filters are miles apart. There's nothing close to the depth of Massive X in there.Stefken wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 3:56 pm I like it for pads.
A lot to explore; I can't shake the feeling that the presets don't do it justice as this semi-modular setup holds more potential.
We'll see.
If I compare it with Pigments, I can't believe what a mess they made of the UI. ADSR doesn't even change with the settings. Hoping this is a bug and not by design.
Yes, I hope NI gets off their ass and brings the U/I up to speed, but, to have really excellent modules in a standalone poly with enough modularity to be really useful, that's a win for me.
On paper, Pigments seems cool, two multi-model filters, but, in practice, they have not nailed the non-linearities in the filter models like NI has.

Ugh. Doesn't your DAW list your plugins alphabetically?yehboy1 wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 4:27 pm Anyone else getting confused in their DAW between Crusher-X and Massive-X? If you weren't kidding, of course. I'm not sure.

Did you download and install the wavetables from here? https://www.native-instruments.com/file ... ibrary.isoVortifex wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 4:35 pm None of the wavetables or noise tables are available in my demo, is this a bug or is that how the demo is?

no. You're having a problem with the additional stuff. Rescan Presets again - just do it. when that's done, close Massive X and reopen it.Vortifex wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 4:35 pm None of the wavetables or noise tables are available in my demo, is this a bug or is that how the demo is?

Yes, you can disable the octave. Click on P1/2/3, you will see a new button appear, looks like a grid. Click that, then disable Remote.chk071 wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 4:19 pmYou're right. Didn't even know what that thing down there was.EvilDragon wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 4:11 pmPerformer preset octave is set to be there, maybe?chk071 wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 3:59 pm Another stupid question: Why can't i play notes below C1? Does nothing when i try...
Any way to use that octave?

Yep, sound is really much better, overal sound is very very good.chk071 wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 4:26 pm I think the GUI is a step down too. It's a bit all over the place. The sound is so much better than Massive 1 though.
