As a frame of reference, I installed the latest Sektor last night.
Just a standard zip archive containing a standard installer.
The 4-gig content was also placed by a standard installer.
Activation was instant, by dropping the serial number
in the related gui panel.
How many engineers would be needed to wreak havoc
on this simplicity/efficiency, and replace it with
a Native Access klone?
In addition, an offline registration scheme for NI products
would be welcome by a significant minority of customers.
What harm and damage would befall NI by re-implementing
such a procedure? I think it would actually boost sales a little,
and reduce support overheads a little. Providing useful
alter(Natives) is a winning strategy.

I wonder if they are using Enron style accounting to show their huge profits.

Hundreds of software engineers, and they could not assign one to add uninstallers for Mac.

Apple realized that, if you're not allowed to uninstall software, your hard drives will fill up faster and therefore you'll buy computers more oftenglokraw wrote: Thu Sep 05, 2019 7:28 pm Hundreds of mac users can't figure out how to uninstall software?
