I'm lost as how to use this with something like BFD3 in Cubase. It loads as an instrument, and I don't see where I candirect the MIDI notes generated to a different track. :/

Answer on their forum uses Blue Arp, but process ~ the same.

I'm just lost as to how to use this thing in general.
Looks pretty good though.
Hoping to get in to Colundi Sequence Level 6 -

Not sure if already written here so bear with me,
Hornet`s Euclidian gives me some riddles at times,
a free alternative of the same structure but with just one channel per instance
could be Mike Moreno`s Euklid for PC, Mac, Linux.
When I`m stuck at Hornet I go to Euklid to better understand what the problem is.

P.S. a uservid going over from scratch would be awesome and resolve a question mark or two.

Which points do you need help with? I'm happy to do some tutorial videosOmkar wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2019 9:04 am Not sure if already written here so bear with me,

An answer about this would be much appreciated,
When using Arp. mode:
Its like Hatefish never "purge" notes, i.e.he's adding/stacking them.
Stopping/Returning back to measure 1 doesn't "update" Arp. notes making it useless in this mode.
Tried playing notes live and also sequencing them with no success.

This sounds like a bug, do you have video that shows the issue? The best thing it would be to open a support ticket stating DAW and OS version.nordickvr wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2019 12:03 pmAn answer about this would be much appreciated,

Hi all, thanks Saverio for the kind offer ...
Two main things,
1. I find myself almost every time clicking into the step field of a row
in order to edit the line or to edit a single event or to lasso events and edit them.
Otherwise I loose intuition or intuitive workflow and things get too mathematical.
Edit a row means add, delete, nudge, lenghten etc. selected event(s)
and may comes close to what nordickvr means.
It would help tremendously to be able to have access to the events of a row,
so a setup of divisions can be taken as a sketch and then edited.
Or for example when events of two rows are overlapping, one of them can be nudged.
And so on.
2. To have 16 channels in an overview is great but can easily become overstraining.
I.e. I can hear something`s not right and I need to break down what it is.
Then Moreno`s creation comes into play to single out channels
and to play with parameters like rotation and accents.
The Hatefish on/off function of a row doesn`t do the trick
as the row can be located but not fixed (edited).
A user vid not only assembles the technical aspects
but the various influences of experience, the individual footprint of "how to".
If Saverio, as a musician himself, would go over his tool as is
and lays out of how he would use it, I`d be happy to welcome a new user vid.
It wouldn`t be a surprise to see Saverio tempted
clicking into the step field of a row in order to edit it.

AHAHAHAH
I'm more of a mixer / producer than a musician (although I play piano and keyboards and little guitar)
Anyway, that sequencer is an idea of one of our collaborators and it's designed with his specs in mind (he's mainly an IDM/electronic producer) so it's really meant to be automated and not edited.
I think what you have in mind is a step sequencer with some generative algorithm and this is not meant to be that, but just a midi note generator that you can then record into your DAW and edit later (a full step sequencer would require much more work in terms of UI and thus lead to higher costs )

While we have your ear (possibly),
Can you give some clues how me might use Hornet Sequencer for doing Colundi sequences?
Have you heard of this?
I think it would be quite good - but I don't know what I'm doing?

Colundi sequences is not a mathematical thing.
It's "The Colundi Sequence - Volume 1 Album by Aleksi Perälä". It's music.
He probably means that micro-tonal thing. He's not clever enough to know what software have use for it.

just wanted to outline my issues at times, there are workarounds.
Ideas which I hope shouldn`t be super hard to deal with,
there may come up a concept to alter the CH tab view to a total overview
in order to locate conflicting rows (just a switch of the view when needed).
and a little more detailed visual representation of length, velocity etc.
Good for sketches before midi editing.
I would welcome a vid of collaborators to get a feeling of worklow
and what was on mind when defining the specs, nothing fancy just inspiration.
