Pure Windows users will never become professional musicians, because they don't have time to finish anything, because they spend their time with windows updates, workarounds, searching for additional tools for audio solutions and hard disk cleaning.

They need the time for backups, recovery, driver installation, desktop cleaning, virus removal, waiting for search results on disk, shutting down, booting, writing problem descriptions and deleting software attachments. And they have no money.

Yes, i'm a real windows user and have no money for a mac, anyway i don't want to invest it, get used to it. But Apple makes everything better in terms of audio, that's how i feel. Excamples?

Windows always follows, but that always takes a while.

I may have exaggerated a little. XD
Of course, all this was not meant seriously. But i believe that there are more advantages on the part of apple than on windows in terms of music and audio.

If being a Pro using a Mac means that with every OS update half of your plugins no longer work (and in extreme cases even your DAW), then I'm happy I'm not a Pro :P

Since 2007 I've updated to seven of the eight possible versions. Haven't lost a single plugin, in all that time :scared:

Theoretically, I would lose nothing as all the companies whose plugs I own seem to be sorting out their compatibility, installers etc. Also, there is nothing too compelling on the features list, so I'm happy to wait :tu:

Well, I've read a lot here lately about software not being compatible with Catalina. Companies like NI even recommend NOT to update to Catalina yet. And some plugins that are updated to work in Catalina suddenly no longer work in older OS versions...

Looks like as a Mac user it's an endless struggle about what to update and what not to update, just to keep everything working properly.

It really isn't a struggle for most people. Either you are a user who only uses their computer for web surfing etc, in which case you'll likely never know of any issues. Or you are a professional, or amateur creative, in which case it should be clear that it's best to wait for the dust to settle on any updates, until most of the bugs and instabilities have been wiped out. The same advice is just as pertinent for Windows users.

I know some only use Mac because they work with Logic Nothing special just the choice for a certain sequencer only available on Mac.
