Sounds good but I can hear no sound differences in track/buss mode and XMFR In/Out ?
Sould the plugin be put in a buss, in an effect track, in the master ???
Crazy how confused 2 switches can be !
Edit : I found the differences between track and buss mode but still no clues about XMFR mode.

Not really big differences when you engage transformer. There will be different harmonic coloring and dynamic response.
Not hearable at all.

When Tunca says "Not really big differences when you engage transformer" he means that it's not immediately obvious. But it is 100% measurable. And placed over many tracks in a mix, it makes a difference.
Audio engineering is not only about hearing, it's about feeling. You don't really hear cohesion as much as you are aware that its happening.
I'm not a fan of AO plugins generally but I do recommend Konsol, N492ME, OAQ and TREQ. Those are really good plugins.

I made some A/B tests this morning with an EDM drums and insert a voxengo span analyser before and after Kontrol.
I couldn't see any differences between the 2 curves when XMFR is On or Off.
I listen through my headphones and couldn't hear any differences.
Is it possible there is a bug on the OSX Kontrol version ?
same test performed with CTC-1 in Studio one and I can hear the different sound colouration when I adjust the character knob.
XMFR mode must be very very subtle !

You need to look at the harmonic analysis.
