Yeah this sucks. Met him once, a friend of mine knew him forever since the Blackouts days here in Seattle. randomly walked up to them talking and chatted for a few minutes before realizing who he was. Super nice guy, down to earth, and in some to me really important bands.

RIP - Dang, I've seen Bill several times as part of the three-headed, six-armed, six-legged King Crimson drum monster. (I'm sure Vurt will enumerate the remaining anatomy at his leisure).

I first heard Mr Rieflin on "The Repercussions of Angelic Behaviour" about 20 years ago, and he also popped up on La Mer (Nine Inch Nails).
I saw him a couple of times with Crimson (in 2015 and 2018). He was a very talented multi-instrumentalist, and slotted straight into the drum-trio format. Time to dig out the DVDs now.
