I am looking to get full Kontakt and not sure best cheapest route. Is NI expected to run a summer sale and what would be a good way to crossgrade using third party library?

Google Drum’mica. Sign up for free and it used to count as a cross-grade eligible product. Not sure if it still is.

embertone arcania can maybe crossgrade. sale starts on the 6th. Might be good to also try getting the projectsam free orchestra library, it might qualify as well.

It’s called Arcane and It worked for me to get a crossgrade which is currently half price at NI. Around $120 all in.

You can also use coupon code SELECT2020 to get Komplete Select 12 for $100 (until June 8 ), then upgrade to Komplete 12 for $200 more. So for $300, you get Kontakt and a bunch more stuff.

Not the cheapest route to Kontakt, but you get tons of other cool stuff (Reaktor, FM8, Absynth, Battery, Massive X, several FX and libraries, etc) for less than the normal price ($399) of Kontakt.
