Hmm. I just upgraded and my greyed out folders are still greyed out. What do I need to do to get rid of them? Do I need to start from scratch again? I really really want to use this but this issue is still a show stopper for me.

... And still complains every time that something changed in the library and a refresh is suggested. Which is simply not true.
Sigh...

Is there any way to keep the folder tree in the browser stay open when the plugin editor is closed and reopened?
It always collapses all folders and makes it hard to continue where you left off.

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Sadly agreed.... a great missed opportunity.resistent wrote: Fri Oct 16, 2020 2:01 pm Still buggy as hell and still some features missing. This thing was very promising but I gave up on this. But well it's free so all thanks for the work anyway. Maybe v2 will takes us further.

Is Loopcloud a worthwhile alternative? Or do you need a subscription to use it?
Are the features comparable?

Technically loopcloud is usable without a subscription, for now, I don't see that lasting much longer though, with each version it moves more and more towards needing to pay to even open the program.

Loopcloud is great. Much more options for auditioning files with patterns and things like that. For example you can audition a hi hat with different patterns instead of a hit on each beat or bar. You can also use your own patterns.mabian wrote: Fri Oct 16, 2020 4:11 pm Is Loopcloud a worthwhile alternative? Or do you need a subscription to use it?

It also has multiple players
My only gripe is it is external program with a bridge plugin to the DAW which makes constant change between DAW and LC screen unless you use multiple computers.
ADSR is much easier to use for simpler tasks but as mentioned buggy.

Hi @marvotron
Have you guys come up with a solution to Sample Manager creating renders of all audio files you preview while using the plugin in the 'Macintosh HD ▸ Users ▸ Username ▸ Library ▸ Caches ▸ ADSR Sample Manager ▸ renders’ folder? This makes the plugin unusable for me, as i have a small capacity SSD and it fills up quickly when previewing lots of samples. It’s also a pain to have to navigate to this folder to delete the files manually. I really like Sample manager but I can't use it anymore because of this. I would love if you guys could come up with a solution for this. Something like AudioFinder, which automatically clears out the renders folder when you close it. Thanks!

Hey man. Can you please show me exactly where i can find this? Thanks!Etienne1973 wrote: Mon Oct 19, 2020 1:24 am @futurevibe05: You can delete render entry by clicking the X within the app.

I was wrong! Just had a look. Render files don't get deleted from their storage location on SSD/HD this way. Only render files search entry disappears. For now I've put an alias of the render folder on my desktop. But there must be a more elegant way.futurevibe05 wrote: Mon Oct 19, 2020 1:38 amHey man. Ah, no worries
I'm surprised more people haven't complained about this. I've stopped using SM because of this but i'm hoping they come up with a solution soon because it's a great plugin otherwise. I don't like Loopcloud because you have to run a separate app.
