The record label databloem (http://www.databloem.com) will release a shorter version of my track Afraid of silence on their "Collection 3" album with various artists.
It was really hard for me to make a shorter version, because for me Afraid of silence can not be shorter, but I think I succeeded quite well. I have now post it by "snailmail" to their mastering studio in Canada.
Hopefully "Collection 3" will be released this year.

In year 2005 databloem will release a whole album with me, which will include the original full length version of Afraid of silence.

I think databloem is a fantastic record label to work with. They give me plenty of time to work with my music and they give good feedback.
They are really nice to me :)

I hope you all here at K-v-R understand that I can not share my tracks here any longer.
Thanks for all the great feedback I have got from you all!
It's because of you that I have worked so hard with every track, and in some way, it's because of you that I have been givened this record label deal.

Well I do some kind of Ambient Noise music.
I call it Modern Ambient.
That kind of music Tim Hecker, Fennesz, Mitchell Akiyama & Desormais do.

It's to bad that you don't have listen to my tracks I have posted here

First of all, congratulations! :) I was one of the five initial Databloem artists on the original "Collection 1" in 2002 and i released an album "Unidentified Feathered Object" on dataObscura this year, under the name Kwook.

Dennis and Tony are good people, and i know they have quite high and exacting standards so you must be rather good at what you do. Personally i still release a heap of tracks free to the Net though because most of my stuff is very much beyond anything that Dennis or Tony are willing to publish. Most of it is a bit noisy and unsophisticated for them i think.

I've got an early CDR of "Collection 1" labelled "D/A Conversion" with different tracks to the final version as well. It was all rather long ago and it's great to see the label starting up from nothing and going from strength to strength. :)

Thank you!
Good to here from someone that had experience with databloem.

Dennis contacted me and said that he really likes what I do. :)
So I'm happy he did 8)
