Hello everyone, for some time I have intended to throw myself into a new business, create some kind of video tutorials where I present my songs showing how I made them. I created this video prototype: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mmxv6P ... p=drivesdk
My aim is to reach as many audiences as possible, the video should be enough interesting, so my questions are: What would you change in this video? Is it interesting enough? Is it pleasant to look at or are there any flaws to correct? Would you enter the entry? Is it understandable enough? Do you understand what I am doing in the video?
Finally, should I continue along in this way or is the whole project to be reviewed? I would be delighted to collect your ideas about it! Thanks to all!

It depends a bit on what your goals are. I think it is a very good start. If you want to turn this into more than just something you do for fun, you would probably need to put yourself onto the screen and start talking instead of using captions.

Hi mgw38! Thanks for the reply! My big problem is the language... =(
I don't speack english, i come from italy, and unfortunately i've never live abroad, and i don't speak a fluent english...even if i studied it at university..it isn't enough to realize a video tutorial. But your opinion is very important, you are not the only one who gave me this advice, a real video in 2021 is made by a "youtuber" that speaks to you directly. .

Maybe do it in Italian? That will make you unique

Hi Bertkoor, thanks for your advice! But i would like to reach as many people as possible..if i make the video in italian you couldn't see it, for example, because you would not be able to undertand the language..If i do it in Italian with English subtitles would you watch it? Could it be a solution in your opinion? I could do another prototype of video to show you!

I don't want to piss on your parade, but you are not alone in wanting to post production videos on youtube. Millions of producers do it, in the hope someone is watching. Because attracting a sole listening crown (eg SoundCloud) is already impossible. The market gets saturated. First on SoundCloud, now on YouTube as well.
So you need something unique. Why not make content especially for Italian market? There is a language barrier anyway, so why not exploit that?

What you say makes sense, Youtube is full of producers who make videos every day in English, and it would be very difficult to make your way through that jungle.
I got an idea, just today I came across a video of this type, nothing spoken, only worflow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5CBnVqDOLg
What do you think about it? Could this be a good idea?
