Hi guys,

I am very sorry, I guess you've heard that question over and over again, but I can't help to end on the wrong way doing my own research ...

Very simple:
- Audio Source 1) Anything, different ableton, a DJ performing on 120 bpm, ..... (but STABLE BPM!)
- Audio Source 2) MY ABLETON

.. mixed together

If my friend is DJing or playing Ableton, and he tells me the right BPM, it will ALWAYS go out of beat ....

I know the Ableton tempo nudge function, I set "hotkeys" like "Q" or "W" - if i have the same BPM setting as my friend, these functions are perfect to get a perfect beat match, but they ALWAYS go out of beat again after a few bars ...

Please note, my friends and me are on the very low end of budget .. so maybe 120 BPM on my Computer just isn't 120 BPM because my Computer is so shitty ....

Please, there HAS to be a way!
Can you lead me into the right direction?

Cheersfully yours

Like, maybe is there a function to match the beat to an incoming audio source?

Hi there, great username btw...

Are you in the same room/location or doing this over a network?
Have you tried Ableton Link or MIDI clock?
If I understand your question correctly you are currently doing this manually (pressing play) rather than having your Ableton start via a trigger of some sort?
