Yeah man, that's a fair point. But I was really referring to their own 'positive only' facebook group. Where one can't criticize PA products. That type of oppressive atmosphere isn't very helpful to the community as a whole.

That said, there are some bad actors out there who have biased opinions. I try and ignore those dudes to be honest and look at more objective stuff, etc.

After some tests I see why it "polarizes". I've found very few material which works well with this limiter. And that's offputting when reading its description. Definitely overprized and "overpraised" by their team for what it actually delivers. Especially in comparison to the usual suspects as Fabfilter, toneboosters, DMG and such.

Hi - this was my input on that post but I think you had already left the group.
Hey, GusGranite, I'll repeat exactly what I said to this Emrah guy. There are only 3 options: 1) he was delusional and detached from reality for some reasons, 2) he was just blatantly lying, 3) he was paid by PA. Download my files and take a listen. And yes, I will point liars and toxic trolls.

Seriously, download my files. Have a great day!
Well I hope someone else tests this outside of your mix and presents the results. There is an opportunity here for some learning.

To be fair to Dirk, your post criticizing the plugin is still up in the Facebook group. He did not censor it.

Interesting, because, I though there are pages of criticism about their plugins here and elsewhere.

Also, be careful with statements from involved people who come from such threads or sites. Just that. Be careful with those. Everyone's opinions or experiences are coloured, in some way.
Because dirk is not a f**king mod here.
He tried to do that over at gearsluts but he got shutdown.
As recently as few months ago I criticised PA in crispyaudio thread, and dirk came around to personally attack me AGAIN.
Btw, since they bought crispy literally nothing happened of it.

Also please tell me how MASS PURGE of support tickets is “coloured”.
Also the way Dirk behaves is accepted as unacceptable everywhere except in his echo chamber and by his minions

I'm afraid it's the same as with his Softube Weiss post. "I'm not afraid of anybody, me and my acolytes are immune to facts and reality! We're strong!"

The limiter seems to be one of the (fortunately) rather few plug-ins that do not get much positive feedback. On Gearslutz it doesn't look any better... some even think it's more of a waveshaper.
Yes, dear Dirk, programming a really good limiter needs a bit more than just good marketing :P
