The company had it all: money, product concept and skilful people (brilliant, I must say)
It just was managed poorly and with overly puffed goals. That is all. "Too many chiefs, quite a few indians."

The grid instruments (Seaboard) are somehow decent, the Block and Lumi are a joke. Or shall I say, just toys.

So far only EigenHarp Alpha (by EigenLabs) managed to do great features, but they overdid it. Way, way too complicated and the form factor is not for everyone, certainly not for keyboard players.

Osmose might be getting close, but I know that it is not going to be implemented as it should be.

Sad to see Roli has been renamed and filed for administration, but that was expected to happen. I was surprised to see they got a second financial investment of 17M. This 'bad management fiasco' should have stopped before that, but... money is money. No one is immune against it until proven the contrary.

I did not expound its virtues above other plugins or some such. Where is the shill post here? What is so distestful? --Sigh-- please be more balanced in what you write.

What are you on about? What posts of mine are protective of ROLI? You seem to be very confused.
My friend, for the umpteenth time, I posted in this thread with a feature set of Equator2, to follow on from a post made by another poster who also listed a feature of Equator2. My post was meant as an informative post to show the fuller feature set of Equator2. How are you misconstruing it in the way you are, is beyond me.

This whole thread is full of outlandish posts against ROLI, there's lots of speculation, opinions and venting. Not once did I refer to these or posted in defence of ROLI. Your stance is mistaken and misleading. Please stop misconstruing it all. If you feel dislike towards ROLI, please continue to voice it, but I am not part of it so please don't twist my only post (about anything to do with ROLI) in this tread. Thank you.

And I'm genuinely sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with ROLI. I wish that wasn't so. I wish you had a great experience, but there it is...and you are free to voice your criticism. I'm not here to defend ROLI or any other company. Remember, I'm also a user (more like total synth nerd), so I can empathise when things go wrong with products or customer service, or anything else related to audio/music production.
