A minute in... Very nice noise

I will probably get this small swanky 5 watt tube amp pretty soon. A Magnatone Starlite.

Oh that looks nice. I'm a big fan of small combo amps with lots of character. :tu:

Finally got me an actual studio desk instead of noname/IKEA simple table. Got the Zaor Vision WS, it's a small desk but I get my monitors and screen on a good height, get 6U of rack space right in front of me and a great solution for hiding cables. Should have bought this long ago.

Not the most feature laden amp, but it's super nice for the money and more than
enough for my needs no doubt. :)

Now in the “one or two modules a month, I can handle it” phase of eurocrack addiction.
Ordered a Doepfer Wasp Filter and keeping an eye out for any secondhand Disting Mk 4 going cheapish.

Yeah, the SEM is kind of like the System 100 filter, but the Wasp seems to have that nasty edge that could make some fun ugly sounds. Seems a bargain at £60.

yeah with the weird resonance buzz  very individual filter as far as im aware?
and yup, the prices certainly are a bargain!!!
sem, i just love the squelchy resonance :hihi: (same with the polivoks although that's not doepfer)

actually, just noticed the SEM has a bandpass option so that is different than the 121 and would no doubt work well with sweeps. Will think about it.

i think it's based on the oberheim filter rather than a moog?
