I am going to try an experiment using 2 soundcards and would like to know if there are any "free" Hosting softwares out there that will allow me to use plugins please, thanks.

Well - for a start - the freeware Traktion will do that.

Yes, Tracktion is THE option. As freeware nothing gets closer.

i think you might get into trouble for calling it freeware tho... [you can get a free license ..]

I understood since v2 Wuschel's ASIO4All will merge two stereo soundcards as one 4-channel soundcard. Then you could use any ASIO-comatible host.

"Free" plugin Hosts software?
