Hi everybody!
Its My right here. I'm using Cubase Sx 2. something and as we all know that when you are recording a new project, Cubase Sx has in the project folder, subfolder such: Audio/Images/Edit and sometimes Freeze.
-Now my question is: can you sometimes erase whats on the Image folder and it won't affect the project when you open it again?
- My second question is, because i use to use Sonar before and they have this unique process or format called: Bundle. Meaning that if you have a song thats has also audio, you can just choose to save the project in bundle and burn a Cd.. and directly if u open it in anohter computer with Sonar, the audio files will still there. Is there a way with Cubase Sx to do that? In case that You had one flder but there is more then one song with audio and you wanna send that project to be mixed elswhere?
Thank you for your time.
My
And happy hollidays to all of you. You guyz are great

Yup, that's all off the File menu of Save Project To Folder.

If you loss an image file, and open that project...I know it will still play the track...it may ask you if you want it to create it again...not sure.
Now,about project exporting.
SX/nuendo WILL create many different types of project export files types.(file/export.....) but read below;

If your using the "fat32" file system you can use another export type...but not recomended,so I didn`t list it.
I`d use the "save project to new folder"...zip it all up and send over the net to your friend.
Or,if he only needs a track or two...weel,just send separate tracks.
Hope this works out.

I don`t why you`d want to,those files are small.
You`d need to delete one, then open SX and see if recreates it...that i`m not at all sure about.

I'm pretty sure Cubase will recreate them (or at least nag you to recreate them) every time you subsequently open the project up.Hi there..

You can play the audio without the image file without any problems.
As to why you'd want to puzzles me...they really are very small in terms of disk space. Probably every image file in a project combined takes up no more room than one snare sample. You won't save any appreciable space. You can make far more space by deleting unused audio .wavs (for which there is a function, but I can't remember which it is).
You certainly won't lose anything by doing it though - Cubase can recreate those image files easily.
