Zynaptiq are teasing a new plug for NAMM, looks like an update to Time Factory, could also be a reason for the delay to Orange Vocoder if it uses some of the same algo's

There _could_ be some crossover, but if memory serves TF is offline and OV is real-time and doesn't do any time manipulation, so delays to OV are probably caused by <more uninformed speculation> and nothing more.

cool...if it's an updated time factory v3 it's a awesome new

Cool, we should be able to see it released around 2039.

well... I have a big interest with a time-stretch algorithm that could replace and rivals in quality the one of audiosculpt that likely won't be updated for apple silicon

It's a new delay.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

Isn't there a DAW that uses Zynaptiq's time stretch algo?

Post

Logic pre-"Pro" used to have the ability to enhance the pitching/stretching stuff with something like that.. can't remember which company it was.

Remember, Zynaptiq have acquired a lot of this tech from the old company ProSoniq (actually, possibly where Zynaptiq got the -iq in their name..? pure speculation) so it could have been the old ProSoniq time-stretch algo which was licensed out.

... researching

Ah, it was the old Radius tech from iZotope which Logic used, which now seems to be in RX. Not sure who Apple purchased to get the polyphonic FlexTime and FlexPitch algos.

Here's the old page where Prosoniq talk about licensing their MPEX2 time-stretch algo long before zynaptiq purchased the IP.

Zynaptiq didn’t need to purchase anything from Prosoniq because they are Prosoniq (Stephan Bensee) + Denis Goekdag

I stand (from a sedentary position) corrected! thanks aMUSEd

They already put multiple phase vocoder modes into OV, at superbooth they showed an extra zero latency mode plus their new take on pitch quantizing ("forcing"). Looks relevant to time stretching/pitch shifting algos

this was a clue they gave last year
