Fair enough, perhaps you might enlighten us as to some of the more technical aspects of how these synths are made, e.g. what types of modeling go into them? Component level, circuit modeling etc. Since you see fit to undercut the competition so severely, essentially opening the door for these arguments and comparisons to begin in the first place. Tell us why we should believe that they are even in the same league as something that has taken years of painstaking development by developers who are upfront about their meticulous, costly and time consuming processes.

Based on your choice of words, I'm fairly certain I would be wasting my time to engage with you. We have free demos that will enlighten those who are genuinely interested as to whether or not our products have a place in their studio.

Of course, I'm not surprised by your response. I would say that you are one to talk about
choice of words, considering I wouldn't have said anything, if you had not felt the need to
try and discredit me by referring to my post as "utter nonsense" when I had specifically
stated that it was conjecture. I think a simple "that's incorrect" would have been
sufficient and much less antagonizing. Anyway, I do agree that it would be a waste of
time discussing the matter any further with you.

Who knew? I read a lot of speculation in the post I assume he's responding to, but no hatred or name calling. You probably could have made your post less accusatory but, honestly, I found it mildly amusing. Yes CA is doing some things right but they're not doing everything right in my opinion which in large part explains why I only own one of their plugins despite the low cost.....

Again a forum where only positive feedback is allowed when interacting with a developer would be a pretty worthless place for both members and developers alike.

I used to engage in a lot of KVR wars. Pretty embarrassed of that, actually. These days, Mac’s and PC’s both work great, analog and digital both sound great, Virus’s can be bought for less than the cost of a controller, and every legendary synth has been recreated. What is there left to fight over?

Has anyone actually ever tried to run a CA - Synth through a SansAmp PSA-1?

I have a PSA-1 and could try. Any reason for it being the PSA-1 specifically? They would probably sound better through my Avalon U5, Alembic tube preamp, or Yamaha M512 mixer.

The PSA-1 was just one that came into mind, also one I do not own myself. If you have the Time to do so; sounds like a pretty good mix, of different, interesting flavors & coloring to run a VSTi through.

I don't have anything by Cherry Audio but I always keep an eye on them because their prices are really cheap.

Yepp, normally needs some kind of Transformer; yet for Testing - Purposes, adjusting the Line - Level carefully should also be fine.

I do think they have a winner there, I'm probably going to pick it up soon.
In every way that's a better move, target a section of sound rather than make some claim that you've captured the sound of a Moog etc.
