Have researched this to death but can't find any info on the synths on this song. Any idea what it is? Song came out in 1986 so that eliminates a lot of synths. Unfortunately, the list of possible synths is still huge.

Here is the solo in the middle of the song.

Unfortunately, Youtube won't allow time stamping for this song when posting to a forum. So go to 1:51. Sorry.

Maybe it’s just me, but it sounds sorta Prophet 5-ish on the studio version, but this live version appears (?) to be a DX7. Watch to the very end and you’ll see that the keyboardist appears to be playing the top synth (not visible) followed by a glimpse of a DX7 on the top tier at 3:55. The live version sounds more like a DX7 than the studio version does to me…

Great song and great live performance. Belinda was the shizzzzz

Thanks. Well, I'll whip out my U-he Prophet 5 and see if I can recreate it.

I think it is all DX7 or a TX rack. The solo could be a Juno 106. DX and Juno was popular rig in 1986.

Moved to Sound Design on the assumption that you want to recreate the sound. If you're just curious/making conversation, I can move it to Everything Else.
