Well, it's flatter anyways.
Newly resizable, I presume.

Anthology XII Release Notes:

1.1.8

  • Added refreshed and resizable UI for EChannel, EQ45, EQ65, Precision Time Align, and UltraChannel
  • Added various quality-of-life fixes and improvements to EChannel, EQ45, EQ65, Precision Time Align, and UltraChannel
  • Added checkmarks for selected preset path in preset menus
  • Improved preset bar button interactions
  • Removed Precision Time Delay

Apparently Precision Time Delay and Precision Time Align were redundant. Does anyone know the story on why there were two?

I seem to remember some difference between them, at one point. I think maybe Precision Time Align originally only had the top slider and lacked the Fine Adjust control, and that original version was renamed to Precision Time Delay when when Precision Time Adjust got the second slider?

But later versions of Precision Time Delay seemed to be the same as Precision Time Align before they removed it completely. I add delays infront of room reverbs all the time to increase the mic distance, but I never really got into this plugin because it can only delay up to 3.47 meters.

It's bigger than the older version but the maximum size could have been even bigger IMO.

Oh that's *much* nicer than what it was... Maybe I might even *use* it now! :tu:

They haven't updated the website yet though, it still shows the old one...

Edit: It shows in my Eventide account as "UltraChannel Redo", but there are no downloads for it yet.
Edit2: Oh, it's just a duff link - you need to remove the "Redo" bit from the downloads url...

As much as I'd like to, I can't find "one" channel strip that I would use on everything. probably the closest to that (for me) is the PA 9000J. It's a bit smoother than the 4000E. But, I only use it on drums. I've used the Softube Grand Channel on vocals for years, but it gets pretty gritty if pushed too hard. The American and British channels get used on a few things. I have to have at least a dozen channel strips, but hardly ever use them. The next mix I do, I may try using the Fuse channel strip for everything. It might be fun to experiment with a different flavor than what I usually go for.

Used to be fugly, now it looks pretty decent. I got it for free years ago, now it's time to give it a go :)

It won't cramp your screen though cause it's still pretty small considering the competition. :)

I assume this is a joke. “Cramping” is a total non-issue. It’s a marketing ploy from some developers and their paid YouTube boosters.

What “cramping” actually is, is a slightly steeper slope on the right hand side of a bell curve very near 20kHz. You wouldn’t even be able to hear the difference if it occurred in the audible range. But it doesn’t. And why the hell would you be using a bell instead of a shelf anywhere near 20kHz??

The people pushing this nonsense know better. They certainly should, if they’re presenting themselves as audio professionals.

where i'm heading for a basic project template (i.e. one w/o a request for specific emulation 'character'). was using the PA Focusrite for this, but liking Fuse Audio Labs better; versatile, ease of use, hearing what i need to hear, good one.
